A Rome man remained in jail Sunday without bond after being accused of stalking a woman.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Kenton Kyron Chambers, 25, of 131 Dodd Boulevard, H2, was arrested Sunday at 2:21 p.m. at his home after he stalked a woman and attempted to hit her. When the victim tried to call for help, Chambers took her phone and ran away.
Chambers is charged with felony aggravated stalking and misdemeanor charges of simple assault under the Family Violence Act and hindering a person trying to make an emergency call.
