Report: Rome man had needle loaded with meth

A Rome man accused of possessing methamphetamine was in jail Wednesday with a bond set at $3,500.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Clifford Jay Vaughn, 48, of 15 Bollen Court, was found with a needle loaded with meth near the intersection of Wilkerson Street and Williamson Road around 10 p.m.

Vaughn is charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession and use of a drug related object.
