A Rome man was charged with violating his restraining order, but the Lindale woman who has the restraining order out against him was also arrested on charges of helping him hide in an attic, reports stated.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
Mickey Andrew Hamilton, 33, of 113 Shannon Road, Apt. A, was arrested at his home and charged with making contact with Jasmine Hamilton, who has a temporary protection order out against him.
He is charged with aggravated stalking, obstruction of law enforcement officers and a parole violation. He had warrants for his arrest due to the parole violation when Floyd County Sheriff’s deputies arrested him at his residence.
Jasmine Miranda Hamilton, 27, of 114 Teat St., was also arrested at his residence on charges of helping Mickey Hamilton climb into an attic to avoid arrest.
She was also charged with obstruction of law enforcement officers and failure to appear.
They were both being held without bond Thursday.
