Report: Pipe with residue leads to arrest

A Rome man remained in jail without bond Monday night after he was picked up at a convenience store with a pipe containing meth residue.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Christopher Dale Shadwick, 37, of 11 Cordle Drive was arrested at a convenience store on Martha Berry Boulevard just before 6 p.m. Monday evening.

Shadwick had a pipe with a white crystalline substance believed to be methamphetamine in it.

He is charged with felony possession of meth­amphetamine and a misdemeanor for possession of a drug related object.
