A Rome man was jailed after allegedly shooting up his own home.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Scottie Larry Crawford, 45, of 105 Whispering Oaks Lane, was taken into custody Friday afternoon at his residence after damaging a variety of property inside the residence and firing a shotgun into the ceiling.
A woman who was at the home was put in fear of her own safety during the incident, but was not harmed.
Crawford was charged with felony criminal damage to property and misdemeanors for reckless conduct and simple assault.
Crawford was in jail Saturday night without bond.
