A Rome man remained in jail Wednesday without bond after being accused of trying to choke a woman.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
James Ray Hash, 30, of 302 Cooper St., was arrested Tuesday. On Dec. 21, Hash knocked a woman down and put his hands around her neck, choking her. He also threatened to kill the woman.
Hash is charged with with felony terroristic threats and acts and felony aggravated assault under the family violence act. He is also charged with misdemeanor criminal trespass.
