Report: 3 found with synthetic marijuana

Rome police arrested a Cartersville man and two Rome women on felony drug charges after a traffic stop on North Fifth Avenue Saturday afternoon.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Tricia Nicole Willett, 30 of 1201 Martha Berry Blvd., was stopped by Rome police for a traffic violation on North Fifth Avenue around 4:30 Saturday afternoon.

Willett and two passengers were all charged with possession of a synthetic cannabinoid after officers recovered three bags of synthetic marijuana in the vehicle.

Christopher James Minor, 25, of 71 White Oak Drive, Cartersville, and Lauren Alexandra Williams, 23, of 1204 Martha Berry Blvd., passengers in the vehicle, were charged with felony possession of synthetic marijuana.

Willett was also charged with two misdemeanor traffic violations. Willett and Williams were both being held in the Floyd County Jail without bond on the drug charge.

Minor, who was also being detained without bond Saturday night on the drug charge, was also being held on a contempt of court child support warrant.
