City police arrested a Rome man Monday on a warrant that stems from an Oct. 7 incident.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Officers on East 20th Street spotted Randy Scottie Hutchens, 36, of 518 Division St., on Monday morning. When police tried to take the man into custody on a felony terroristic threats warrant, Hutchins broke and ran but was ultimately caught by officers.
The warrant on terroristic threats and acts charges accused Hutchens of threatening to blow the head off a woman at a location on Tom Bing Road.
The brief foot chase Monday resulted in additional charges of two felony obstruction counts, one count of giving police a false name and two counts of battery.
Hutchens is being held in the Floyd County jail without bond.
