  • ()

Rome Police were sent to the West Rome Walmart Thursday to investigate the theft of three large flat screen television sets.

According to Rome Police reports:

Loss prevention personnel at the store determined that a single male suspect took all three 43-inch flat screen Vizio sets, valued at $225 each, and walked right past open registers without paying for the items between 1 and 1:30 p.m. Thursday.

A female who was with the male subject bought three ONN TV sets in the electronics department and then handed the receipt to the male subject who took the different sets and left the store.

The male suspect left the store in a blue Chevy Blazer, then came back about ten minutes later to pick up the female.
