A Calhoun man was in jail without bond Friday after police say he hit a woman in the face, causing her mouth to bleed and her eye to swell shut, reports stated.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Cody James Cronan, 22, of 100 Henderson Bend in Calhoun, was charged with aggravated stalking and family violence battery. The woman Cronan hit had a temporary protection order out against him before he showed up at her home.
Cronan was also arrested on a warrant and charged with aggravated assault after he tried to strangle the same woman on Feb. 26. The woman was left with substantial redness and swelling and was barely able to talk after Cronan attacked her.
