A Rome man was arrested Tuesday on a warrant charging him with felony aggravated battery for an incident that is alleged to have occurred Sunday.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Monterryus Tyreshod Thompson, 22, of 2130 Southern St., is accused of kicking a woman in the head, face, torso and abdomen, causing visible injuries including a broken jaw requiring reconstructive surgery to repair.
The incident is alleged to have occurred at a location on Clervue Circle on Sunday.
Thompson, who is also being charged with a parole violation, is being held in the Floyd County Jail on Tuesday night without bond.
