A Rome man was arrested Monday for reportedly keeping someone from leaving his house after he reportedly threw them to the ground and choked them.
According to Floyd County jail reports:
Avery Lloyd Stubbs, 25, of 22 Beverly Drive, knocked the victim to the floor and then placed his hands around their neck. He then blocked the doorway to keep them from leaving his house.
Stubbs is charged with felony false imprisonment and misdemeanor simple battery.
