A Rome man was in jail without bond Monday night after being accused of violating a protection order on July 1.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Phillip William Cline, 45, of 801 Warren Road, was arrested on a felony warrant on Monday.
He was served with a protection order on June 14.
Around 6 p.m. on July 1, Cline stopped his vehicle and got out on Warren Road to yell at a woman and the man who was with her, violating the mandate to not be within 200 yards of the victim or her residence.
Cline is charged with felony aggravated stalking.
