A Rome man remained in jail Sunday without bond after being accused of stalking a woman and having methamphetamine.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Ronald Dwight Hammitt Jr., 41, of 1708 Homestead St., was arrested Saturday on warrants stating he violated a protection order by failing to stay away from the victim’s home on Dec. 20.
Hammitt also had methamphetamine in his possession. He is charged with felony aggravated stalking, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drugs across the guardline.
