A Lindale man was in jail without bond Friday after being arrested on his second aggravated stalking charge in a little over a month.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Billy Joe Cook, 49, of 407 Flora Ave., was arrested Thursday, following an incident that morning where he followed a woman to CVS Pharmacy, 1915 Maple Ave., and made threatening remarks to her. He also drove by the woman’s home.
By contacting her he violated a temporary protective order as well as the terms of his conditional bond. He was released from jail Feb. 2.
He had been arrested in late January on a felony aggravated stalking charge as well. In that incident, he is accused of sending a threatening and intimidating text message to a woman, violating the TPO.
