A 33-year-old Rome man who was arrested Monday on a DUI charge on Riverbend Drive also had a pending warrant for his arrest, reports stated.
According to Floyd County Jail and Rome police reports:
Travon Daron East, 33, of 84 Wilma Drive, is charged with felony aggravated battery under the Family Violence Act as well as misdemeanor DUI. East is accused of striking a woman on June 2 at his home and knocking out her front tooth.
He remained in jail without bond Tuesday morning on a probation hold as well as a hold from Gordon County.
