A Rome man was jailed after his arrest on Rome High School property around 1 p.m. Monday and charged with possession of marijuana and a Schedule I controlled substance, reports stated.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Matthew Lee Hines, 18, of 7 Rollingwood Drive was arrested by Rome Floyd Metro Task Force officer after they found the unspecified controlled substance and rolling papers.
Hines was charged with felony possession of a Schedule I controlled substance and possession of drugs within 1,000 feet of a school along with misdemeanor possession marijuana and possession of drug related objects.
He was being held in the Floyd County Jail Tuesday morning on a $5,700 bond.
