A Floyd County man charged with hitting a woman repeatedly and threatening to kill her was in jail Sunday night without bond.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
Joseph Gregory Studdard, 32, of 510 Eden Valley Road, was arrested early Sunday at a home on Vann's Valley Road.
He is charged with hitting a woman in the face with his fist, leaving bruises and scratches, and holding a gun to her head while saying, “You want me to kill you, don't you?”
Studdard is charged with felony aggravated assault and making terroristic threats and acts. He’s also facing a misdemeanor charge of battery.
