A Rome man has been jailed after allegedly damaging furniture in a West Rome home and then resisting police.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Shaquille Malik Mims, 24, of 115 Brookwood Ave. was arrested Thursday night after damaging a dresser and mirror in a home on Brookwood Avenue. When police responded to the situation, Mims attempted to break away from officers.
He was charged with two counts of felony obstruction and one misdemeanor for criminal trespassing.
Mims was being held in jail Friday pending a $2,500 bond.
