A Rome man remained in jail Friday night without bond after being accused of false imprisonment.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Anthony Dewayne Davis, 44, of 68 Todd St., was arrested on warrants Thursday stating he confined a woman in a bedroom and did not let her leave.
Davis is charged with felony counts of false imprisonment and first degree burglary. He is also charged with misdemeanor cruelty to children in the third degree, cruelty to children in the second degree and battery under the Family Violence Act.
