A Lindale man was in jail without bond Wednesday after being accused of violating a temporary protective order to stay away from a Floyd County woman.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Samuel Hoyt Pendley, 40, of 229 Mark Groves Drive, was arrested by Floyd County police Tuesday on a felony aggravated stalking charge.
He violated a court order by texting a woman and going to her home.
Pendley was served with the protective order on Aug. 30, which prohibits him from contacting the woman and from being within 200 yards of her home.
