Homeless woman charged with having stolen car

A homeless woman was in the Floyd County Jail on felony theft charges Wednesday, pending the posting of $5,700 bail.

According to jail records:

Isabella Constance Johnson, 26, listed as homeless, was arrested early Wednesday morning when a police officer saw her at the Rome Food Mart, 1928 Shorter Ave., in a vehicle reported stolen in Rome.

She is charged with felony theft by receiving stolen property.
