A Summerville man is accused of breaking into a Rome residence and threatening to kill the occupant, reports stated.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Billy Joe Dooley, 49, of 2991 Woodhaven Road, Summerville, was arrested by Rome police Tuesday in connection with the incident at an East Third Avenue residence on Saturday.
Dooley is charged with felony burglary and felony terroristic threats and acts after he broke into the home and told the occupant “the Lord’s wrecker service will be taking you home tonight.”
Dooley made specific threats to kill the victim multiple times during the incident.
Dooley was released from jail on $7,900 bond Wednesday.
