Calhoun teen charged with stealing over $900 in baby toys and clothes

A Calhoun teen accused of stealing almost $1,000 in baby items from Walmart remained in jail Tuesday morning without bond, Floyd County Jail reports state.

Allison Danielle Harris, 19, of 109 Twin Oaks Drive, faces one count of felony theft by shoplifting, jail records state.

According to reports:

Harris was at Walmart at 2510 Redmond Circle about 9:30 p.m. Monday. She put $990.67 worth of baby toys and clothes in a cart and left the store.

A loss prevention officer then approached Harris, and she tried to run. She was caught and all the items were recovered.
