A man who was arrested after allegedly assaulting a woman was found to have drugs when he was booked into jail, according to Floyd County Jail reports.
According to the report:
Erick Leon Wilson, 24, of 5692 Trion Teloga Road, Summerville, pushed the woman into a wall Monday night.
After officers arrested him and brought him to the jail, Wilson was found to have a pipe with suspected methamphetamine residue.
Wilson is charged with felony counts of possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, and crossing a guard line with a controlled substance.
He is also charged with misdemeanor counts of simple battery, and possession and use of drug-related objects.
Wilson was released from the Floyd County jail Tuesday on $5,700 bond.
