A Rome man is being held on a probation violation after he was arrested early Friday in connection with a pair of domestic violence incidents, according to Floyd County Jail reports.
According to warrants:
Darrell Lamar Clowers, 39, of 87 Woodland St., got into a physical altercation with a woman at her residence on two separate occasions in December.
The first time, Clowers pushed her to the ground twice, the second time resulting in her breaking her right wrist.
Eight days later, Clowers came back and damaged her front door and several items of furniture before hitting her in the head and kicking her when she was on the floor.
He also dragged her across the floor and pulled the cast off of her injured wrist.
Clowers is charged with felony aggravated battery, as well as misdemeanor counts of battery under the Family Violence Act, and criminal trespass.
Clowers is being held in the Floyd County jail without bond.
