A Rome man was arrested early Thursday, accused of robbing a gas station at gunpoint.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Berry Shontray Cochran, 41, of 406 Pennington Ave., brandished a firearm at Chuck’s Corner store, 200 S. Broad Street, and took $3,400 in cash just before 11 p.m. Wednesday.

Cochran remained in jail without bond Thursday, charged with felony armed robbery and aggravated assault. He was also charged with misdemeanor driving on a suspended license.
