A Rome man accused of threatening to kill a woman and her child was arrested Thursday, according to Floyd County Jail reports.
According to jail reports:
Corey Desmond McHenry, 31, of 2522 Callier Springs Road, Apt. 405, was arrested Thursday and charged with three felony counts of terroristic threats under the Family Violence Act, two felony counts of aggravated assault under the Family Violence Act, one felony count of computer forgery and a probation violation. He was also charged with misdemeanor counts of probation violation and simple assault.
Warrant information states that on Nov. 1, 2014, McHenry threatened to kill a woman, her child and her family with a large knife. He threatened to do so in front of a child and showed the 12-inch knife to the woman and her child.
No bond was set for McHenry.
