Georgia Trend names Barge, Corbin as 100 Most Influential Georgians - honors several others

This 16th edition of Georgia Trend’s 100 Most Influential Georgians includes, as always, some new names and some old ones, as leadership changes and recent achievements combine with resignations, retirements, course corrections and shifts in power to shake the list up a bit.

This edition included several Romans including Gretchen Corbin the commissioner for the Department of Community Affairs and John Barge the State School Super Superintendent. Among the notables mentioned were:

  • Joe Cook, Former Executive Director, Coosa River Basin Riverkeeper
  • Katie Dempsey, State Representative, District 13
  • Al Hodge, President/CEO, Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce
