On Friday, the six elementary schools of Rome City participated in a math competition at Elm Street Elementary.

Each school brought eight students from fifth grade and sixth grade to compete in four different categories related to mathematics. Students competed in a group task round, a speed round, an individual test, and a STEM group challenge.

The school winners are:

First Place: West Central Elementary

Second Place: East Central Elementary

Third Place: West End Elementary

We hope to open the competition up to invite other schools from other systems to join us next year.
