Georgia Northwestern Technical College announced the students on the president’s list and dean’s lists for the fall 2017 semester. To be eligible for the president’s list, the student must maintain a GPA of 3.8 or higher during the semester with a course load of at least 12 credit hours. To be eligible for the dean’s list, the student must maintain a GPA of 3.5 to 3.79 during the semester with a course load of at least 12 credit hours.

Mercer University announced the president’s list and dean’s list for the fall 2017 semester. Inclusion on these lists requires students to meet rigorous GPA standards specific to the college or school within the university.

Presbyterian College announced Velvet Caroline Ferrari, a senior psychology major from Rome, has been named to the dean’s list during the fall 2017 semester. The dean’s list is composed of students who have earned between a 3.3 and a 3.9 GPA.

University of North Georgia announced its dean’s list for fall 2017. Dean’s list recognition is achieved by having at least a 3.5 GPA, carrying 12 or more credit hours in one semester and having no grade lower than a “B”. Area students who made the list are Elizabeth Eberhart of Rome; Elizabeth Mullenax of Rome; Meredith Tomlin of Rome; Roderick Selman of Rome; Emily Windatt of Rome; Mason Webb of Euharlee; and Brooklyn Stepp of Kingston.

University of North Georgia President Bonita Jacobs recognized students who achieved a 4.0 GPA during the fall 2017 semester. Students enrolled in 12 or more credit hours in bachelor’s degree programs who achieved a 4.0 GPA were named to the president’s honor roll. Area students who made the honor roll are Alexander Rogers of Rome; Chesley Kemp of Rome; Jordan Purser of Silver Creek; Kaylee Akin of Rome; Shannon McBride of Rome; and Emily Whitlow of Rome.

Valdosta State University announced its fall 2017 dean’s list.

Students who achieve a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher on nine or more semester hours with an institutional GPA of 3 or higher are recognized by being placed on the dean’s list. This includes: Jateria Colts of Rome; Katherine Hall of Kingston; Leah Harrison of Rome; and Rhesa Hyde of Rome.

Virginia Tech announced its dean’s list for the fall 2017 semester. Area student Patrick W. Kearns of Adairsville, a sophomore majoring in biology in the college of science, made the list.
