Makiko Jinnouchi and Andrew Safigan were married at 7 p.m. on July 2, at home of the groom. The bride is the daughter of Hirokazu and Tomoko Jinnouchi of Taku. The groom is the son of Steve and Jamie Safigan of Rome.
Brennan McElhone of Rome performed the double-ring ceremony.
Grace Cohen of Greenville, South Carolina, was the maid of honor. She wore a yellow strapless eyelet dress. She carried a bouquet of sunflowers, yellow roses and blue delphiniums.
The bride, given in marriage by her parents and escorted by the groom, wore a sleeveless white lace dress. She carried a bouquet of sunflowers, white roses, yellow roses, and blue delphiniums.
Ted Summer of Rome was the best man.
The parents of the bride joined the ceremony by live streaming on YouTube.
Following the ceremony, a dinner was held at Safigan’s home.
Prior to the wedding, an engagement party was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Bill Byington, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jackson, Mr. Bob Wright, Mrs. Beth Summer, Dr and Mrs. PJ McElhone, Dr and Mrs. Tommy Simpson, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Fisher, Dr and Mrs. Cline Jackson at the McElhone home.
A September honeymoon is planned in Hawaii.
