The bride, given in marriage by her mother and escorted by her uncle, Jimmy Farrer of Silver Creek, wore a formal gown with lace cap sleeves and bodice, which finished into a cathedral train. A fingertip length veil completed the look. She carried a collection of green hydrangea, pink and ivory roses, accented with baby’s breath.

Byron Dover was the best man. Chase Dover, brother of the groom, Joe Roberson, Tyler Diggs, Zach Diggs, and Jared Hemphill were the groomsmen. Zach Roberson was the ring bearer.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Silver Creek United Methodist Church. Refreshments included the bride’s four-tier round cake. The tiers of the cake alternated between strawberry with lemon curd filling and pound cake with cream cheese filling with buttercream icing on the exterior. Pink roses formed a cascade down the cake.

The evening before the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Oak Hill. Other pre-nuptial parties included a miscellaneous shower given by the ladies of Silver Creek United Methodist Church, a miscellaneous shower given by Sheila Carr, Tracy Koehler, and Kathy Stamey, and a painting party given by the bridesmaids.
