New Antioch Baptist Church in Shannon has a new senior pastor.

Pastor Eric Hardman and his family are scheduled to be at the church, 4553 Calhoun Road N.E., beginning Feb. 5 at 11 a.m.

Hardman, a native of Clarkesville, is coming home to Georgia after serving in Asheville, North Carolina. He was a unanimous choice by church membership. After graduating from Fruitland Bible College, in Hendersonville, North Carolina, Hardman received a bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Bible College in Wake Forest and has served in multiple ministry roles over the past 17 years.

Hardman, his wife, Cassie, and three sons, Noah, Caleb and Jacob, work to minister beyond the four walls of the church, by not just going to church, but being the church, worshiping together and doing life together with their fellow believers, according to a press release from the church.

The church has Sunday School 10 a.m., and worship at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. Wednesday.
