The City of Rome’s Summer Movie Series at the Rome City Auditorium continues Sunday with the popular animated film “Finding Nemo.”
The film will run from 1-4:30 p.m.
The beloved films tells the story of the overprotective parent named Marlin who, along with a blue tang friend named Dory, searches for his abducted son Nemo. Along the way, Marlin learns to take risks and comes to terms with Nemo growing up and taking care of himself. Movie-goers are encourged to wear their favorite brightly colored summer outfit and kids can also bring their favorite stuffed sea creatures just for the fun of it.
The remaining films in the series are “Remember the Titans,” “Steel Magnolias” and “Tombstone.”
Tickets for each show are $5 a person and can be purchased at the door the day of each show. Cash and credit card payments will be accepted. Doors will open 45 minutes prior to each show. Audiences are encouraged to come dressed in theme for each movie to make the movie experience extra special.
