'Grown Folks' Business 2' comes to Broad Street Sept. 16

A show about love, laughter and music makes its way to the Rome City Auditorium on Sept. 16 when “Grown Folks’ Business 2” comes to town.

The African American Connection for the Performing Arts is sponsoring a Passageway Production of “Grown Folks’ Business 2: Deliver Us From Otis!”

The show is written and directed by Niclous P. Howard and takes a hilarious look at real life situations which cause you to understand that even when we doubt God, he’s the only one we can trust.

While a family is recovering from an untimely death, drama arises when grown folks’ business becomes God’s deliverance. It’s a story filled with love, laughter, music and the power of God’s intervention.

The cast of more than 30 actors, performers and vocalists from Virginia Beach, Virginia is excited to stage the drama for Rome and Floyd County residents.

There will be a special VIP pre-gathering and meet-and-greet in the Sam King Room.

Doors open at 5 p.m. and the show will begin at 6 p.m.
