Artist Expo takes place Saturday at Makervillage

2017 Artist Expo

The 2017 Artist Expo will take place Saturday at Rome’s Makervillage.

The artists who will be exhibiting and selling their work this year are as follows:

Shephanie Beckman — wearable art

Heather Bryant — watercolors

Emalee Butler — printmaking and painting

Tom Canada — turned wood

Robert Early — woodwork and furniture

Grayson Evans — ceramics

Rachel Holt — wax based skin care items

Lisa Ingram — handmade ceramic art

Madison Ivey — modern handlettered art

June Manis — lampwork glass

Olivia Myers — handbuilt pottery

Gary Shindelbower — ceramics

Ryan Smith — photography

Angela Vicente — jewelry

Jessica Williams — jewelry

Amy Young — hand painted pallet signs

Spotlight Artists are:

Jeff Brown — wood furniture

Amy Hus — mixed media paintings

Eres Jones — paintings

Hayley Gillespie — oil paintings

Nadia Krasnoperova — oil paintings

The Artist Expo will take place Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Makervillage which is located at 252 Fifth Ave. The event will also include live music featuring Richie Hewyard (acoustic guitar) at 10 a.m., Rome Area Flute Ensemble at 11:30 a.m., Kelly & Marcie Lane (acoustic guitar and vocals) at 1:30 p.m. and Steve Vasil (vocals and keyboard) at 3:30 p.m. Admission is free.
