Marines Helping Marines

Rome Marine Corps League commandant Hal Gosnell (right) presents a $2,000 check to retired Maj. Gen. Mike Regner to support the Marines Helping Marines program that provides assistance to Marines wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan, and their families. The League’s national convention was held in Overland Park, Kansas, where Gosnell also presented a $1,000 check to the Marine Corps League Foundation. The Foundation provides emergency assistance to Marines and their families and education scholarships to descendants of Marines.
