Rachel Camp, program manager, Outpatient Services at Willowbrooke at Floyd, talks about the alcohol and opioid addiction crisis on Thursday at the Polk County College & Career Academy in Cedartown. The free educational event gave therapists and counselors an opportunity to discuss how to recognize signs of addiction and where to get help. A second presentation will be held in Rome on Tuesday at The Warehouse, West Rome Baptist Church, from 6:30 till 8 p.m. Dinner will be provided for free, but registration is required.
