The 77th annual Georgia 4-H Congress was recently held at the Crowne Plaza Perimeter at Ravinia in Atlanta. Over 550 people attended this year’s Congress. 4-H’ers earned this opportunity by winning their project area at district competition this past spring. 4-H’ers project competitions were judged on portfolio to record their accomplishments over the 2018 year, interviews and presentations. Floyd County 4-H in attendance included Lauren Wood (left), who placed second in performing arts — dance, and Mason Daniel, who gave a history presentation.
