CASA volunteers sworn in

Two new Court Appointed Special Advocate Volunteers who have completed 40 hours of specialized training were sworn in March 6 by Juvenile Court Judge Greg Price. CASA volunteers are assigned to a foster child’s case to advocate for the child’s best interest in Juvenile Court proceedings. The goal of the CASA is to ensure a safe, permanent home for the child as quickly as possible, and as such works closely with all parties involved in the child’s case.
