Adrian Fanjoy (fifth from left) has been named Marine of the Year by the Jake Puryear Detachment, Marine Corps League. Fanjoy has twice been elected to two-year terms as judge advocate of the detachment. He has also served as adjutant of the Greater Rome Young Marines Unit, a subsidiary of the Marine Corps League, and as the unit, battalion and regimental paymaster for many years. He works in the Toys for Tots program, and the Belk project to provide aid to wounded Marines.
