The Rome Council of Volunteer Administrators (COVA) will host a seminar and workshops for non-profit agencies across the region Jan. 10, 2014 at the Berry College Krannert Center.
Kristie Sharp, the president of the Georgia Association for Volunteer Administrators, will be the keynote speaker for the conference. The event will feature breakout sessions dealing with issues ranging from legal issues involving non-profits, motivating volunteers, creative fundraising, social entrepreneurship and community engagement.
The schedule begins with registration from 12:30 - 1 p.m. with programs continuing through 5 p.m.
There is a $10 registration fee and space is limited. COVA is encouraging people who are interested in attending the seminar to pre-register by Jan. 3 at www.cvarome.wix.com/cova.
