Rome Floyd Chamber logo

Recognizing the need for developing leaders for Rome and Floyd County, the Rome Floyd Chamber established the Leadership Rome Program in 1983. The purpose of the program is to provide an understanding of what a leader is, to create an awareness of issues facing our community, and to discuss how leaders should deal with these issues. Leadership Rome XXXV participated in a variety of sessions including industry, healthcare, education and government.

The individuals selected to participate in Leadership Rome XXXV represent the educational, financial, industrial, governmental, legal, religious, medical, non-profit and retail/small business entities. Through the interaction of this diverse group, participants learned of the ideas and interests of those from differing backgrounds. The deeper understanding of people throughout the community, and the knowledge that participants gained about the challenges and opportunities facing the Rome and Floyd County community, will equip graduates of Leadership Rome to take more active leadership roles. The participants commit to participating in wide range of community events, organizations and more in the future.

Congratulations to Leadership Rome XXXV.
