Final: Rome 9, Greensboro 4
How it happened: Kevin Josephina hit a run-scoring triple in the fifth inning, leading the Rome Braves to a 9-4 win over the Greensboro Grasshoppers on Saturday.
The triple by Josephina, part of a two-run inning, tied the game 4-4 before Isranel Wilson hit an RBI double later in the inning.
Troy Conyers (3-0) got the win with 3 1/3 innings of scoreless, three-hit relief while Greensboro starter Kolton Mahoney (6-6) took the loss in the South Atlantic League game. For the Grasshoppers, Jarett Rindfleisch doubled and singled, driving in a run and also scoring one. Despite the loss, Greensboro is 5-1 against Rome this season. (The Associated Press)
