Final: GreenJackets 3, Braves 2

How it happened: Rome’s pitching staff allowed just two hits — both home runs in the seventh inning — and the Braves couldn’t recover.

Who did what for Rome: Carlos Franco, Sal Giardina and Connor Lien had the Braves only hits, with Giardina and Lien both notching RBIs.

On the mound: Chris Diaz and Brandon Barker threw six innings of no-hit baseball, striking out four and walking three. Tyler Vail gave up the lone two hits and three runs. Matt Weaver pitched one inning, walking one batter.

Next Game: The Braves take the road to play Charleston tonight at 6:35 p.m.

Next Homestand: Rome hosts the Hickory Crawdads Thursday at 7 p.m.
