A body found in the Etowah River last week in Bartow County has been confirmed to be the remains of a man who had been reported missing since April 4, the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office has reported.

According to the sheriff’s office:

The Medical Examiner’s Office of the Georgia Bureau of Investigations Crime Lab reported that Richard Blake Cowart’s body was found Thursday.
