The city of Sandy Springs will host a public information open house meeting May 2 from 6 to 8 p.m. at City Hall regarding concepts developed for intersection improvements at Roswell and Dalrymple roads. The open house will provide the community with the opportunity to review and provide input on the proposed concepts. There will not be a formal presentation, but Sandy Springs representatives will be available to discuss the project and answer questions.

The proposed project is intended to improve safety and operational efficiency at that intersection. Proposed improvements include adding an additional eastbound left turn lane on Dalrymple and extending the existing sidewalk. Pedestrian lighting, crosswalks and traffic signal upgrades are included as part of the project. It is included within the transportation special-purpose local-option sales tax (TSPLOST) program approved by voters in Sandy Springs and Fulton County in November 2016.

City Hall is located at City Springs, 1 Galambos Way in Sandy Springs.
