Some Paulding state and local elected officials will host a series of town hall meetings through mid-May.

District 17 State Rep. Martin Momtahan, R-Dallas, has scheduled two town hall meetings about the 2019 legislative session Monday, April 22, in Dallas.

The meetings are set for 1 p.m. on the first floor of Paulding County's Watson Government Building, and at 6:30 p.m. at Dallas City Hall.

At the town hall meetings, Momtahan will give updates on legislation recently passed during the 2019 legislative session.

Constituents also will have the opportunity to voice their concerns and ask questions regarding the past legislative session, Momtahan said.

Paulding County's Watson Government Building is at 240 Constitution Blvd. in Dallas. Dallas City Hall is at 129 E. Memorial Drive.

Momtahan's district includes western and northern Paulding County and the city of Dallas. For more information, call 404-656-0178.

District 6 Paulding School Board member Jason Anavitarte has scheduled a Town Hall meeting for May 15 at 6:30 p.m. at Rodney's BBQ & Catering at 4724 Dallas Acworth Hwy. in Dallas, he announced on Facebook.

Topics are set to include anything related to schools, from enrollment growth to athletics.

Anavitarte's district includes northern and northeastern Paulding.

District 19 State Rep. Joseph Gullett, R-Dallas, announced in a Facebook post he is organizing a series of town hall meetings for late this month and early May and will announce their time and location soon.

Some Paulding state and local elected officials will host a series of town hall meetings beginning tonight and running through mid-May.

Gullett's district includes eastern Paulding County and the city of Hiram.
