A $1,000 reward is being offered for those responsible in an animal cruelty case after two pigs were found shot on the owner’s Paulding County property.

Paulding sheriff’s detectives were investigating the case of animal cruelty in which someone shot the pigs and left them to die just off Lucas Road in north Paulding .

The owner is offering the reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the shooter, the sheriff’s office stated in a Facebook post.

Those with information on those responsible for the shootings can call the Criminal Investigations Division of the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office at 770-443-3015.
